Job Title: Insurance Verification Specialist

Location: [Hybrid - Must be located in Atlanta, GA]

Job Type: [Part-Time]

Pay Range: $14-$16/hr

Job Overview:
As an Insurance Verification Specialist you will be responsible for verifying patient eligibility and benefits and data entry. You will work closely with both patients and dental offices to resolve any insurance issues. This position is primarily remote. However, employee must be available to come into the office 1-4x per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain and verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits by contacting insurance companies and reviewing patient insurance information.

• Communicate effectively with patients and dental offices to acquire required information for verification purposes.

• Assist in providing educational support to dental offices regarding insurance processes.

• Additional projects assigned by management.

• Weekly team & client meetings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of experience in dental billing, insurance verification, or related field required.

• Familiarity with a Dental PMS: Cloud9, Dentrix Ascend, Denticon, etc required.

• Knowledge of dental insurance and claims management required.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
